This category is open to all soloists of an advanced, semi-professional or professional status. Veils must be utilized in this category. Props may be used, but no extra points will be given for their use.

| Soloist, Tribal |
This category is open to all tribal soloists of an advanced, semi-professional or professional status. No drum solos are allowed in this category. Props may be used, but no extra points will be given for their use.

This category is open to all cabaret soloists of an advanced, semi-professional or professional status. No veils or drum solos are allowed in this category. Props may be used, but no extra points will be given for their use.

This category is open to tribal groups of two or more dancers. There are no dance ability restrictions for this category. Dancers should appear equal in skill. Props may be used, but no extra points will be given for their use. Please submit a complete list of participants.

| Dance Troupe, Cabaret |
This category is open to cabaret groups of two or more dancers. There are no dance ability restrictions for this category. The dance is to be fully choreographed. No solos can be permitted in this category. Dancers should appear equal in skill. Props may be used, but no extra points will be given for their use. Please submit a complete list of participants.

Competition Rules:
- No entries will be accepted after the deadline.
- All contestants must sign a release form. If you haven’t done so by the time you arrive, you’ll be asked to do so at the EVENT. (If you are a minor, your parent or legal guardian must sign.)
- There is no gender restriction on the participants.
- Bring your identification card, receipts, and other relevant documents.
- Check in at the front desk no later than one hour before your performance time. If not, you may lose your turn.
- Bring everything essential to your performance, including music and back-up. (You must bring 2 CDs containing only your piece of music. Please print your name and category on each CD.)
- You must BRING WITH YOU a 4-inch by 6-inch index card. On it include your “Full Name”, your “Stage Name”, and a short piece of information, approximately 30 to 40 words long, about you (or your troupe, if applicable). We will use this to introduce you to the audience. All information must be printed to avoid confusion.
- Your entire dance must be performed on the stage.
- Each solo performance must be a minimum of 5 minutes and a maximum of 7 minutes long. Each troupe performance must be a minimum of 7 minutes and a maximum of 10 minutes long. All performances will be timed. Points will be subtracted for going under or over the limits.
- All judges' scores are final.
- Please do not talk to judges about your performance or other related topics.
- All dances will be performed on an elevated stage. Proper costumes, appropriate for a family atmosphere, must be worn. If not, you will be disqualified.
- You must wear cover-ups over your costume when you’re not performing. If not, you will be disqualified.
- If you’re under 18, you must be accompanied by an adult while you are at the event. If not, you will be disqualified.
